Our Antique Maple/Beech is a blend of those two species. The planks are milled from timbers and other barn wood and are mostly pale colored with indistinct grain patterns and contain evidence of their age and their former life including darkened knots, blackened nail holes, varying amounts of insect marks, weathered cracks and some patina. Aged Woods® Antique Maple/Beech is a very durable alternative to Antique oak with minimum character and minimum patina.
