This private residence in Santa Fe, NM, was designed by John T. Midyette & Assocs., Architects. The house is an authentic adobe-style home complete with latillas and vigas. The recycled wood flooring compliments the extensive use of exposed heavy timber construction on the interior and exterior. |

In the photo at left, the flooring has added visual interest with several changes of direction. The room from which the shot was taken has a field and a border, while the adjoining room's floor runs in a completely different direction.
The Antique Distressed® Oak flooring was installed by Steve McAdams of Bestwood Floors in Santa Fe. |
