Reclaimed wood flooring from Aged Woods® is re-milled from recycled wood from old un-used barns. The look of a reclaimed Aged Woods® floor is the natural result of a century or two of weathering and the signs of old-time craftsmen. Our reclaimed and recycled hardwood floors are the sustainable choice to add unique and authentic rustic character to residences, retail stores, restaurants, casinos, country clubs, etc.
Available is flooring from the more common reclaimed species in the mid-Atlantic/Northeastern U.S. such as Antique Oak, Antique White Pine, Antique Yellow Pine and Antique Maple, and flooring from some of the rarer reclaimed woods like Antique American Chestnut, Antique Hickory and Antique Heartpine. For added confidence, our Aged Woods® reclaimed woods are FSC certified.
In 2007 we introduced our ERA® - Engineered Reclaimed Antique - flooring. This product has a 3mm wear layer of authentic reclaimed antique wood over a nine-ply substrate of fast-growing birch held together by formaldehyde-free adhesive. The planks are prefinished with a 7-coat, high abrasion aluminum oxide finish system. We include a lifetime structural integrity warranty and a 20-year residential finish warranty.
Our Yesteryear® brand rustic flooring also adds character, but at a lower price point than our authentic antique reclaimed wood products. It is milled from specially selected new growth wood and is available in wide widths and long lengths usually not possible with reclaimed wood. And of course, our Yesteryear® brand flooring comes with our usual high level of quality, consistency and service.
