Reclaimed Heartpine Flooring – Antique Select Heartpine

A very sought after flooring with a history!

Our Antique Select Heartpine flooring is made from reclaimed factory and warehouse timbers. Planks contain 90% – 100% heartwood, very infrequent nail holes, tight knots (max 1-1/4″) and occasional hairline cracks as evidence of the wood’s former life. Aged Woods® Antique Select Heartpine is a very durable floor that represents the Classic Heartpine look that works well with both rustic and contemporary decors. This floor has medium character and minimum patina.

This flooring is suitable for use in:

SOLID SPECS

  • 100% Recycled / Contributes to LEED® MRc3: Material Reuse
  • All planks are kiln-dried to 8%, +/-2% before being milled and graded to our consistently high standards by trimming out defects and waste.
  • Unfinished, prefinishing is optional
  • Standard plank thickness: 3/4″, other thicknesses available / Standard plank length: 2′ to 10′, LONGER, IF AVAILABLE, WILL BE INCLUDED
  • Beveling and/or end-matching: Optional
  • Single width planks: 3″ up to 10″ (depending on availability)
  • Typically sold in ranges of four consecutive widths: 3″ to 6″, 4″ to 7″ and 5″ to 8″ with other ranges available. (Random amounts of each width in the range are included in every order, e.g. 3″ to 6″ will contain 3″, 4″, 5″ and 6″ planks)

ENGINEERED SPECS

  • Contributes to LEED® MRc4: Recycled Content
  • Wear layers are kiln-dried to 8%, +/-2% and adherred to a no formaldehyde, 9-layer Baltic Birch substrate w/no VOC adhesive
  • Unfinished, prefinishing is optional
  • Standard plank thickness: 5/8″, with 3/4″ and 7/16″ available / Standard plank length: 2′ to 10′
  • Wear layer/substrate thicknesses (for 5/8″): 4mm/12mm / may vary with different thickness flooring
  • End-matching: STANDARD / Beveling: Optional, but recommended.
  • Single width planks: 3″ up to 10″ (depending on availability)
  • Typically sold in ranges of four consecutive widths: 3″ to 6″, 4″ to 7″ and 5″ to 8″ with other ranges available. (Random amounts of each width in the range are included in every order, e.g. 3″ to 6″ will contain 3″, 4″, 5″ and 6″ planks)

FINISHING OPTIONS

  • Available on orders of at least 500SF
  • Low-VOC and agro-based NO VOC options available
