Reclaimed Fence Oak Flooring Product Details

Reclaimed Fence Oak Flooring – Overview

We remill this modestly priced reclaimed wood flooring product from salvaged Maryland horse fencing. It is a mix of red and white oak, sometimes more of one than the other. Some of the material that comes to us was painted black. We can mill the material to achieve a light face or skip-plane it to leave more of the original surface. Most customers go for the look in our photos.

Note that this product has 1) shorter lead times, 2) shorter maximum lengths and 3) lower pricing than typical reclaimed wood flooring produced to the same high standards.

Please call to discuss your project/our products, or use the Contact Form to begin the discussion. We look forward to providing you with the highest level of service!

  • We send free samples after we have quoted material and shipping costs, and lead time, that fits the project budget and timeline.
  • An Aged Woods® sample consists of 3-4 pieces of the product. We send multiple pieces to show more of the range of color and character of a product than a single piece. Our samples should be used in conjunction with the photos and descriptions on our website to decide which product will suit your needs.
  • To place an order remit a deposit that is 50% of the material costs, i.e. the total minus the shipping cost/2. The balance, including an updated shipping cost, will be due just before shipping.
  • We accept payments via ACH, checks and Zelle®. Because of the fees we do not accept credit cards.
  • Installers are very important in determining how your Aged Woods® floor turns out, so it is equally important for that person (or persons) to be experienced installers with, ideally, some experience with reclaimed wood flooring.
  • That said, we are happy to discuss installation and finishing with our customers. Some might want to do it themselves.
  • We are just as happy to discuss the product with the installer(s) if they have any questions.
